Fur Free Alliance
Fur Free Alliance is a movement to militate the use of animals fur in the fashion industry. In comparison with other farm animals, species farmed for their fur have been subjected to relatively poor conditions. More than 100 million animals are killed for their fur every year worldwide, including mink, fox, raccoon dog, chinchilla and coyote. That’s equal to three animals dying every second, just for their fur.
The apparel industry accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions.
Sustainable fashion is hinged on the principle that the fashion industry has a clear opportunity to act differently by creating new value and deeper wealth for society while pursuing profit. The movements calls clothing companies, including Hadasshe to place environmental, social, and ethical improvements as part of strategic goals so to create flourishing ecosystems and communities through its activities.
