Kacey Musgraves has dropped a new track, from her long-awaited fourth album album ‘star-crossed’ . The full album will be available on the 10th of September.

Musgraves has already said the album is inspired by her recent divorce from fellow country musician Ruston Kelly. She’s also said the classic three-act arc of the album is inspired by Greek tragedies.

The album will feature 15 tracks, and is described as being “structured as a modern-day tragedy in three acts” and “tells an extremely personal journey of heartache and healing”.

A film will be delivered around the same time as the album, streaming only on Paramount+ in the US, Latin America, Australia, the Nordics and Canada. Fans in the UK and different areas will actually want to watch on MTV.

Bardia Zeinali directed the 50 mins piece which includes Schitt's Creek's Eugene Levy, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood's Victoria Pedretti, Princess Nokia, RuPaul's Drag Race champ Symone and jokester Megan Stalter. You can look at a trailer, and the new title track, underneath.
